Feeder Line
On-Time Delivery, Every Time
It is crucial to meet the completion dates established by Dominion Energy in order to realize Dominion’s business objectives and Utah’s Infrastructure Tracker program requirements. The Canyon and Dominion team works together through all phases of the projects to coordinate planned construction, determine the pipeline’s running path while construction is underway, line up subcontractors, interface with multiple city and state municipalities and agencies, and adhere to an agreed upon budget. Canyon has never missed a Feeder Line completion date.
Benefits of Long-Term Strategic Partnership
The collaborative “Team” approach by Canyon and Dominion has yielded many benefits spanning resource planning, production efficiency, innovation, safety, project management, reporting, and reduced costs. Over the years, Canyon has built trust through transparency, communication, consistency, and an unwavering commitment to continuous improvement. Not only has this resulted in successful support of Dominion’s construction needs, but also in enabling Canyon to support their environmental and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) objectives as well.
Feeder Line projects include careful planning to protect Utah’s beauty and wildlife. Canyon adheres to a comprehensive Environmental Risk Mitigation Plan to avoid the degradation of soil, air, and water. Animal habitats are protected too. Here, a Feeder Line running path is adjusted to avoid interfering with an elk farm.
While Feeder Line projects include restoration of the path of construction to its natural state, sometimes construction results in an improvement. This restoration site became a hiking trail for local residents to enjoy.
